KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE SPACE PAnel

On 16 November 2026, the Stalowa Wola Regional Development Agency (StARR) and SpaceSUITE are jointly organising an international KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE SPACE PANEL in Stalowa Wola, Poland, focused on future skills, talent development, networking and European cooperation in the space sector. Join us and be part of a European conversation that goes beyond discussion – towards new partnerships and concrete project ideas. Let’s build the future of the European space economy together.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

We especially invite representatives of cities, European initiatives, universities, research institutions, companies, innovation organisations and other ecosystem partners from the Space, SpaceTech and Dual-Use sectors.

The future of the European space economy starts with people, their skills, talent and ability to work together. If you are wondering:

  • What future skills will the European space sector need?

  • How can universities, businesses, research institutions, innovation ecosystems and European cities develop talent and better respond to the rapidly changing skills needs of the space sector?

  • How can we turn these shared challenges into new space partnerships, European projects and practical cooperation?

This event is for you.

WHY JOIN US?

At the Knowledge Exchange Space Panel, you will:

  • gain insights into emerging space skills, competence needs and skills gaps;

  • explore micro-credentials and flexible learning pathways;

  • learn from European initiatives and compare different approaches;

  • exchange experience with organisations facing similar challenges;

  • meet potential partners and work on ideas for future joint initiatives.

Come with your experience and challenges. Leave with new perspectives, new connections and ideas for what could come next.

AGENDA

Please note that the final programme may be subject to minor adjustments.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The rapid development of SpaceTech and dual-use technologies is creating new opportunities for the European space industry, but also changing the skills and competences needed to seize them.

These challenges bring SPACE 4 TALENTS and SpaceSUITE together. SPACE 4 TALENTS is building a space and dual-use talent ecosystem in Stalowa Wola, with an ambition to connect local and regional potential with partners and opportunities across Europe. SpaceSUITE brings a European perspective on space skills, supporting the development of a skilled workforce for the downstream space sector. The Panel brings these two perspectives together and opens this cooperation to others.

During the event, we will explore current and emerging skills gaps, education and training needs, micro-credentials, flexible learning pathways, talent attraction and retention. European initiatives and stakeholders will share their experience, while the interactive round table will give participants the opportunity to discuss regional needs, emerging competences and opportunities for cooperation.

But we do not want the conversation to end when the event does. Networking and partnership building are at the heart of the Panel. We want to connect cities, universities, research organisations, companies and innovation ecosystems around skills, talent, education, entrepreneurship, space-related innovation and explore how these connections can lead to real European cooperation.

Participants will get information about funding opportunities, identify shared interests and potential partnerships and work towards 2-4 concrete project ideas that could be developed after the Panel. Our ambition is to turn connections across the European space ecosystem into joint initiatives, new consortia and projects in space skills, talent, education, innovation and SpaceTech.

WHAT COULD WE BUILD TOGETHER?

That is the question we want to answer in Stalowa Wola.
